Associate Director, Community-Based Studies
Kyle Juvers serves as the Associate Director of Community-Based Studies at Better Together. In this capacity, Kyle works with consultants, partner agencies, and community stakeholders to assemble valuable information on municipal services throughout St. Louis City and St. Louis County.
Before transitioning to Better Together, Kyle was the Deputy Director of Business Services in the Office of Missouri Secretary of State Jason Kander, helping entrepreneurs and small business owners navigate the registration and licensing processes in state government.
Prior to his work in Jefferson City, Kyle was the Deputy Campaign Manager and Deputy Treasurer of Kander’s campaign, managing the day-to-day operations of a $1.6 million statewide race and filing financial reports in compliance with Missouri law. The bulk of Kyle’s experience is in grassroots organizing, having served as the Get Out The Vote Director for Kansas City Mayor Sly James, field director on a DCCC targeted Red-to-Blue congressional race, regional field director in St. Louis City and St. Louis County for Organizing for America – a project of the Democratic National Committee, and field organizer for President Obama’s 2008 campaign.
Kyle studied as a Capital Fellow and earned an MPA with an emphasis in public management from the Harry S Truman School of Public Affairs at the University of Missouri – Columbia, and holds an undergraduate degree in communication and political science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
